 
Who is the Bridge To Life?
The Bridge to Life is Jesus,
God's Son.
He existed before the world began.
He was
present at Creation.
John chapter 1 verses 1 - 3.
Jesus came to earth because there
was a vast gap between God and man.
God made man so that He coud have
a loving relationship with him, but since Adam and Eve sinned against God everyone of us has sinned against God, and have
left Him out of our lives.
God is holy, and cannot tolerate sin, so there is a vast gap between God and us.
Because
God loved us so much and wanted us to have a relationship with Him, He sent Jesus to bridge that gap.
Only Jesus could
bridge that gap between God and us, because He was not born of man but by the Holy spirit. He was sinless.
Luke
chapter 1 verse 35.
(this Holy thing that shal be born of you shall be the Son Of God.)
All
the while Jesus lived on earth He never sinned.
Hebrews chapter 4 verse 15.
He came
to live the kind of life we should have lived, and He died to pay the penalty for the sins that we have committed.
Jesus'
disciples were with Him for three years and they saw Him heal the sick, raise the dead, forgive sins, do miracles, and heard
Him preach with authority.
They know that Jesus was not an ordinary man.
When Jesus asked them who they thought
He was, Peter said,
"You are the Christ the Son of the living God."
Matthew chapter 16 verse
16.
Jesus took Peter, James and John up to a mountain, and there they saw Jesus in all His glory.
Matthew chapter 17 verses 1 - 8.
Jesus said some amazing things about Himself.
He
said,"Befor Abraham was I AM."
John chapter 8 verse 58.
Jesus was using the
name for God.
Exodus chapter 3 verse 14.
Jesus said, "I and the Father are One."
John chapter 10 verse 30.
Jesus said, "He that has seen Me has seen the Father."
John chapter 14 verse 9.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man
comes to the Father except through Me."
John chapter 14 verse 6.
There is no other
way to bridge that gap between God and us except through Jesus.
Romans chapter 3 verse 23, tells
us that all have sinned and fallen short of what God wants us to be.
Romans chapter 6 verse 23, tell
us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
How
can we have a relationship with God?
1. Admit that we have sinned
against God and
confess and turn away from all known sin..
2.
Believe that Jesus died in our place to pay for our
sin.
3.
Ask Jesus to come into our life, and commit the
rest of
our life to Him.
4. Thank Him for forgiving us,
and believe that He
has come into our life.
We can know a relationship with God as our
loving Father,
all because Jesus bridged that
gap between God and us.
As we spend time each day reading the Bible
and praying
we will get to know God more.
As we get involved in a Bible-based
church we
will discover how God can use us in His plan by
using
our gifts for Him.
